Timber!

Blog photo:  This one is for me!  This is the tree next door, photo taken by my neighbor.  He said "Your car must be doing the pine-needle happy dance!"  The trunk and very top branches are still up, but most of the lower branches are down.  They need to get the electrical people (guys said it was PGE) to come over and put some type of lines on the wires. Still, look at the size of the workers...and imagine the size, all the way up! 

Blog post: Okay, what's the deal with no pictures in the MLS?  At least three properties have no photos, not a one!  And one of them has a picture of a back yard only.  That's my rant.   On to the better things.

-Fed (as in the Fed bank) up with the depressed state of housing.  WSJ  This article is great, not only because the Fed is a non-government entity, it is stepping in on what to do.  There was a white paper done by them for Congress.  If you read this, you'll want to read what the readers say about this.  It is very good - on all sides.
-State targets the Mello Roos property tax owners.   Orange County Register
Do you deduct the the Mello Roos fees out at the Community of Harbor Bay Isle (Village 5 - that's the last one to get built out there).  They shouldn't be deducted and the state wants those buyers to know it, and itemize their deductions.
